I did my 5K, in about 30 minutes. I am happy with that time, really happy. I am so proud of myself. 

Also, I ran 7miles yesterday. Collectively over the past week I ran 20.5 miles and walked at least another 2 miles per day. 

I never thought I could do this, but I’m getting there. 

1 month and 6 days until the half marathon!

Even though I already signed up for my half-marathon, this will be the first one I am running. I am really excited. I have never run any race and I am doing it with one of my best friends, one who I always envied her dedication to fitness.

I know my half-marathon will be 20+K, but this 5K will be good training for the big thing. 

It will be a wonderful way to spend my early Saturday morning.
