First I got my hair cut, 2.5 inches off to make my hair healthy. It was the right step even though I love my hair as long as possible. I know its only noticeable to me.
Then I met my grandmother and grandfather for lunch and shopping. Its been tough couple of years with my grandparents, but today made it feel like we are finally going back into the right direction and I am so happy for that.

Today is going to be a good day
And long, I’m working 8AM-5PM, I asked for hours and this week I got them. Today we are working on visuals, which is by far my favorite part of the job.
After work I am heading back to the city, to see my two best friends and go to my cousin’s house. Spending the night with most of my favorite people.
Also, I’m wearing a dress I feel amazing in, always puts me in a better...

It’s pretty fantastic how different I feel before and after a run, no matter the length really. I just ran about two miles maybe even less, but I still feel better than before I left, actually much much better.
And my half marathon is on Sunday! This Sunday! That means in 6 days. It snuck up on me!

A nice day
can always put me in a great mood. It is so fantastic that it is summer. Also, next weekend is my half marathon, the following I will be with my honey and the one after I’ll be on my way abroad.

Some nights I am just a big baby.
Tonight is one of them, distance is getting to me. It doesn’t seem to matter how long it has been since we have been together or until we will see each other again, it just sucks. I want to be there for him when he comes home and I want to hold him as he sleeps.

Tomorrow I am moving out of my apartment.
I have only lived there since December 1, 2011. My lease goes through July 31st, but I’m going away for over two months starting June and then my last year of college I am commuting from my parents’ house. I need to save as much money as possible.
I was living with my sister in a fun area, but I was too broke to enjoy it and she wasn’t home often to bond.

its been a really long day.
Started at 4:30AM (EST), first flight 6AM, landed in ATL at 720AM and next flight was at 1120AM. Then got to Chicago at 12PM (CST). Took the L to a bus to my apartment. Packed to go home and some packing because I am moving. Then got back on the L and got to the train to go to my parents.

Starting the journey.
A bus to a train to a plane to another plane to Derek.
Its almost 5:20 and I’ve already been up for an hour and a half-if I wasn’t sure before we’d know this is love.
I can’t wait to be back with him. Back with my best friend.
No matter if he has to work a lot today and tomorrow I will be so happy to be there when he gets home.
